Default Getting all water out of the engine compartment

After each ride after washing down the engine compartment with salt away, dawn soap and then water, there is always some water sitting at the bottom of the hull. I used to use a shop vac but its a hassle.

Today I used my oil extractor powered by a battery charger. I took a drum stick and used a rubber band to attach the oil extractor hose to the drum stick. I used a flashlight to locate any water inside the engine compartment and sucked away. Much easier than a shop vac in my opinion.
